HONDURAS
Ryan went to Honduras at the end of April to finish off his last rotation requirement for medical school. What a great way to end!
He worked with local ophthalmologists to provide much-needed treatment & glasses for people in several areas around Tegucigalpa.
He received a generous donation of 1,700 glasses (2 full suitcases weighing 50 lbs. each) to take down to Honduras.
EASTER
Here's Joshy in his Easter suit given to him by his great-grandparents. I call it his "Handsome Man Outfit" for obvious reasons!
We went to the beautiful arboretum in Seattle for Joshua's first Easter Egg Hunt. He kind of got the idea & found a couple of the eggs that we hid for him.
Mostly, we just enjoyed walking around & admiring all the blossoming trees & flowers.
I love this picture of my boys!
Hello, Little Joshy!
STROLLER BOY
Joshua loves going on walks in his stroller. I don't know who wouldn't like to be bundled up & pushed around everywhere, but I have heard there are some kids who don't like it. I am glad Joshua does since we take his stroller everywhere.
SEATTLE AQUARIUM
Joshy liked seeing all the fish & other sea animals at the aquarium. He also really enjoyed walking up and down all the stairs there. :-)
Look how close he was to those 2 seals! Kind of scary that you can get that close to them.
Such a cute little walker man!
Look at all those fish!
He really wanted to touch a fish, but that thick glass kept getting in his way!
A DAY AT THE PARK
We walked down to our neighborhood park & had our friend take some pictures of us since we rarely get pictures with all 3 of us in them. Unfortunately, Joshua doesn't know how to smile on command yet, but he looks cute/funny all the time anyway. This was my favorite.
Here are my happy, handsome boys!
Here's me & the cute, smiling boy!
SEATTLE AQUARIUM AGAIN
Ryan went with us this time to the aquarium, which made our visit even more fun!
Look at all those fish, Joshy!
We took a picture of Joshua in every wood cutout thing available!
Here he is as a jellyfish.
As an octopus.
As an eel being captured by his scuba diving daddy.
And here he is looking a lot like shark bait. Yikes, that's scary!
Joshy got to touch a starfish with Daddy's help.
We all had a fun time seeing all the beautiful fish!
