Proud Parents

I often take pictures like this with my iPhone so I can see if Joshua is really asleep. (He's faking in this picture.) Isn't technology great! I love having him fall asleep in my arms although it really limits what I can do for a few hours. We are working on getting him to nap elsewhere.

So far, the swing is his favorite place to sleep. He sleeps best if we swaddle him in his "snuggly" since it limits his hand and arm movement. Unfortunately, Joshua has figured out how to get his hands out, but at least the "snuggly" keeps them away from his face so he doesn't wake himself up with an accidental punch.

Here are my boys getting ready for church. Ryan loves taking care of his son during all 3 hours of church meetings & he does a great job. Joshua loves his dad!

Joshua's Photo Shoot

On Joshua's 2-month-old "birthday," we staged a photo shoot on the couch using a blanket as our backdrop. Here are the cute pictures that were produced.

This is for real now!

There's no longer a question about whether Joshua "has gas" or is really smiling at us. He wakes up in the morning with the biggest smile on his face & he looks so happy to be alive (& to have someone change his diaper)! Such a cutie!!

I can't tell yet if Joshua is smiling because he is happy or if he is just exercising those mouth muscles. Either way, he is super cute when he smiles!
